HIFU, Focused ultrasound, high-intensity focused ultrasound is a technology approved by the American Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which offers a valuable alternative to surgical methods in the treatment of non-surgical facelift and decollete lines.

They may be known by different names in the market according to the different device names of the companies, but the same technology is used in all of them.

The HIFU system applys a low amount of focused ultrasound energy to the subcutaneous layer. The heat generated by this energy stimulates the production of collagen. The positive effect of the treatment is seen immediately after the first application. After 1 month, the result becomes visible and after an average of 6 months, the effect becomes more pronounced. Its effect lasts for 1 – 1.5 years.

Depending on the application area, the processing time varies between 30-60 minutes.

It is a single session application; one session application will be sufficient for people with mild to moderate skin laxity.

HIFU application has no negative side effects. Depending on the application, temporary redness and an edema that causes prominence in the cheekbones can be seen. It is a facelift procedure performed without incisions and scars.
