Lips begin to thin and lose their plump structure with age. As the surrounding tissues lose their elastic structure, vertical lines may occur on the lip edges. These lines become deeper, especially for people who smoke. For this reason, they are also called “cigarette lines”.

With the filler, both the weakened borders of the lip are clarified and the lines are treated. In this process, the aim is not to enlarge the lip, but to reach the form of the lip at a young age by staying true to its original structure.

The process application takes 5-10 minutes. In order for the procedure to be painless, an anesthetic cream is applied to the area to be treated 20-30 minutes before the application.

Hyaluronic acid-based fillers used to give volume and shape the lip are not permanent. The filler material is absorbed by the body in an average of 12 months and disappears. In order to maintain the fullness of the lips, the procedure must be repeated at the end of this period.
